I think you did better than I could have, considering it's acrylics. I've never really learned to work in acrylics or watercolor.
Do you ever use oil paints? They blend so easily and you can keep painting over any mistakes.
When it buys oil paintings, perhaps it does something. At the moment in my house only I have acrylics and watercolors. ;-) ;-) ;-)
